Performing
In 2011 I had the pleasure of performing with
a new company, Keystone Theatre. The show is called, "The Last Man on
Earth" and opened at the Toronto Festival of Clowns as well as playing
in Hamilton in August 2011. The show is presently touring the Fringe
Theatre circuit, Montreal, Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton. Here is a
link to their website; www.keystonetheatre.net
and you can check out reviews in the peanut Gallery.
Mask Messenger (Faustwork
Mask Theatre) Solo show featuring masks and body language for
all ages. Touring again in the 2012/13 school season. Show is
available for booking all year round. If you need the show during
non-scheduled times then please contact
Faustwork Mask Theatre
or Prologue to the
Performing Arts and request the show.
I am working with Crow's Feet Physical Theatre and Artistic
Director Alisa Walton again developing a new show for workshop this fall and
production in 2013.
My long time friend and colleague David Langlois, Artistic
Director of Metaphysical Theatre needed some help with his Toronto Fringe
2012 show, "Pierrot and the Moon" so I jumped in to fill a couple of small
roles in the play. You can read a couple of reviews in the Peanut
Gallery in the Press section. The play was
chosen for the Best of the Fringe but unfortunately due to scheduling
conflicts the play could not take part and another play chosen in our place.
Teaching
Master class in Commedia Dell'Arte in
Winnipeg on August 28/12. Class for theatre company and public workshop.
I continue teaching, offering workshops throughout the year when I am not touring. You can read a list
of available workshops and description details in the
Teacher's Lounge section.
I will also be offering a workshop series titled
"Reach Out Dramatically" which
will be used to raise money for relief work for poor communities in Haiti. Workshops for this program are available throughout
the 2012/13 school year.
Other
Projects
Third
World Awareness. I continue my work with this terrific
organization and recently returned from Haiti in May. I am a former member of the Executive Committee.
Next trip is May 2013.

I will be volunteering soon once again for the Canadian Department of Peace
Initiative Toronto Chapter. The first ever legislative Bill for
a Department of Peace in the Canadian Parliament, BILL C-447, was tabled
on Sept. 30, 2009 in the Parliament as a Private Members Bill by the NDP
MP Bill Siksay (Douglas-Burnaby), and seconded by the Liberal MP Jim
Karygiannis (Scarborough-Agincourt). The Bill calls for a Federal
Department of Peace, headed by a Cabinet level Minister.
