Performing

Teaching
I continue teaching, offering workshops throughout the year when I am not touring. You can read a list
of available workshops and description details in the
Teacher's Lounge section. This
year kicks off with Mayfield S.S. on September 17th.
I will also be teaching Life Skills &
Communications classes with a colleague of mine, Dr. Sandra Katz.
Dr. Katz is a former drama teacher in the Peel District Board and we have
worked together over the last 22 years. Our first all day seminar is
scheduled for Saturday October 6th. This follows our workshop
presentation at the National Association of Drama Therapy
conference in Montreal. You can visit the Life Skills Page
on this site and have a brief look.
I will also be offering a workshop series titled
"Reach Out Dramatically" which
will be used to raise money for relief work for poor communities in
Haiti and Jamaica. Workshops for this program are available
throughout the fall of '07 and Spring of '08.
Other
Projects
I continue to work on teaching guides with
Dr. Sandra Katz. We combine her
experience as an educator with my physical theatre experience to bring a
unique approach to presenting Shakespeare and other subjects to Secondary School students. You can read more about Dr. Katz on her site,

Third
World Awareness. I continue my work with this terrific
organization and look forward to returning to Haiti in May '07. Our group does relief work in developing
countries in the Caribbean. I am on the Executive Committee and fund raising for some very exciting
projects in Haiti including a food project and school renovation in Cite Soleil.
Green Party of Canada
Trinity-Spadina Greens
I am a member of the
Green Party and the nominated candidate for the Federal Riding of
Trinity-Spadina. I am also the International Cooperation/CIDA critic
for the Green Party shadow cabinet.
I am on the committee of Make Poverty History here in Trinity-Spadina
Toronto. I encourage everyone to get involved with the national
campaign and any local campaigns in your area. Do not let political
candidates off the hook. Make them speak up and be counted.
