Dear
Stephen:
I like the way you teach. You
teach with style and understanding. Although the
objects look hard to do you make it look easy. I would
like you to come back and teach us a bit more of those moves
that you have. I think that if I learn a bit more my
mom would like to see it.
Dear Stephen:
I want to thank you for
teaching our class. You really helped me to appreciate
mime and have confidence in myself. My skills were
updated and polished. Mime helped to improve my
versatility as an actress. It was a whole new point of
view for this profession. My group skills were polished as
well as my improvisation. I want to thank you and hope
you can come back again.
Dear Stephen:
First of all I want to say
that I liked your teaching style, because Ms. Katz told us
yesterday that teaching ritual movements was a new workshop
for you. I liked combining the different movements
from each group. I like it when something happens
spontaneously and from our disorganized movements came
something very interesting. Some of the other students
didn't like that part of the class. I didn't really
like the part with the 7 different levels of energy.
Hi Stephen:
It was a pleasure for us to
have you here and it was a lot of fun. The reasons why
it was fun was because I think you really relaxed us and
comforted people so that they would not worry about doing it
wrong. You would always tell us to have fun and it's
okay if you make a mistake as long as you keep your
focus. Doing the 20 ritual gestures was a really good
idea to start off with, because I think that it was really
good for people to do it with partners so it kind of took
the pressure off.
I thought your miming
skill was really impressive. I really believed you
were leaning against the wall. It was cool how you
taught us those skills. One thing I did not like was
how short the time was . We could have worked on some
other stuff to. It would be good if we spent less time
on activities like warm up drills. Hopefully you come
back in November and work on more skills.
Dear Stephen:
Your teaching style was
excellent because I learned how to be creative, imaginative
and I now feel comfortable working with my peers. You
really have influenced my way of adapting in a special
environment such as a grade eleven advanced drama class
. I now feel capable of improving my communication
skills as well as being able to participate in drama
class. The only thing that I would like to suggest is
that two days of practicing movements is needed before a
class presentation in order to be able to do a good
presentation. As a conclusion, working with you
was a pleasure for me.
Dear Stephen (Mr. La Frenie)
I'm really glad that you came
into our class to teach. You taught me things that I
never thought I'd learn in drama. Your classes were
very interesting and different from what we usually do in
drama and it's good to have a change. I really enjoyed
it when we did the 7 levels of energy because at times we
had to act so weird it was funny.
You taught me how to express my emotions
without using words in your classes. I really enjoyed
working with people more than when I had to work by
myself. That was because when you learn something new
and you have a different picture of what your supposed to be
doing it's so much easier to ask a person in your
group. I thought at times that your warm-up style
could be a little shortened but that's just a personal
choice. I'm really glad that I got the opportunity to
have you teach me.
Dear Stephen
I wanted to thank you very
much for coming to our class and sharing your
teaching. It was great! I learned a lot and was
able to go home and show my parents. They were pretty
impressed. I wish you could have stayed longer.
Maybe you could come back and teach us more of your unique
talents! I wish you luck in the future and I hope to
see you again. Once again thank you.
See ya soon!
Dear Stephen:
I think the skills that you
taught us are very important. I learned a lot,
everything from just learning to use more of my body to working
and cooperating better with others. It was very
interesting to see you demonstrate the activities. It
seems to me like you probably had many years of
experience. But it was a little harder for me.
Although I understood it, you should give us students just a
few more minutes to practice, then relax.
The exercises needed a lot of
concentration, so after working with you for a few classes I
felt my concentration really improved. I liked the
activity where we had to pretend to use appliances in
a room. 1 person lives there while everyone is a lamp,
TV., etc..
The drama classes were great
and fantastic and I felt I learned a lot. I look
forward to seeing you come back. I hope I become better
drama students.
Anyways good luck and hope to
see you soon.
Dear Steve La Frenie
How are you doing? I'm
fine. I am one of your students who you taught in the
workshop. I really enjoyed you being with our
class. All the activities were new to me which made it
more fun for me to work. The activities were also
different from last year. I was impressed with how you
handled and approached our class. I liked all the
activities but the one which caught my attention was Romeo
and Juliet. R&J was fun to work with. I met
new people and learned new parts.
I am glad you came and hope
that you can come next time.
